And 20min go by the temp is at 97f and my flux is un-melted.So i thought it hit a temp shutoff, nope, let it cool all the way and never heated up again. So i followed (Kevin K.)'s review and got 18ga kanthal A1 wire and rewound a coil at 16oms put it back together plugged it in and only got to 197f.This Castmaster gg 3000 looks cool but is absolute trash.

When it was at 1800f i bumped it up to 2000f on the dial and went to pee, 8 min or so go by and come back to find the machine at 2800f! A small heat attack later i unplug it and let it cool down all the way just to find the crucible stuck in it and i have to pry it out with a flathead screwdriver. The next run the castmaster gg 3000 struggled to get to 2000f taking almost 1 hour to full melt my paydirt and flux but i manage to get one pour out and directly fill up the crucible with my second run and lode the machine while it is on and hot.

The vary first time i used this machine to burn in the crucible i slowly increased the temp by 200f and gave it 3min and repeated the process till it hit the full 2000f.
